This rigorous 2.9 km (1.8 mile) hike takes you straight up the face of Grouse Mountain. By the time you reach the plateau, your ascent will have gained 853 metres (2,800 feet) - one and a half times the height of Toronto's CN Tower!and when they say "straight up" they mean STRAIGHT UP!!
Signs, like the following, had great supportive words to encourage us on our way up. Jovial words of wisdom such as "Proceed at your own risk", "This next part is harder" and "you're only a 1/4 of the way up beeeyatches... suck on that!" <-- ok, so that last one was a slight exaggeration... slight...
It took us 2 hours to complete
Once we got to the top, the view was breathtaking. I was so proud of myself that I sat down and had some french fries ;)
