Greetings from New Brunswick

Yes... It's true... I am in New Brunswick (more specifically: Saint John, Moncton, Sackville, and now Fredericton) all for the pursuit of the almighty dollar. I can actually say that I'm on a business trip.

I'm here training people on a new software... blah blah blah!

It's been both the best of times and the worst of times. I wont go into detail about the worst of times: constant rain in Saint John, among other things, but I will say that my time in Sackville (a small university town) was extremely fun. I ended up down there visiting a friend's brother. The weekend there reminded me so much of my time in University. Did I mention that I can't party like I used to! I must say that I made a valiant effort though. In one night we went to an art show, had dinner, made some wine, and ended up at this small bar, watching an amazingly talented and popular blues musician named Guy Davis. He wore a suit and a Fedora, and looked every bit the blues star! He played a steel guitar so well that I thought the blues had taken over my soul (I had had a few to drink by this point, and was on to tequila... go figure). Guy also played the banjo and the harmonica for a few of his songs. He played so hard that during one of his last songs, one of his banjo strings broke... Cause for much applause!

All in all it's nice to be in a small town with so much character, and so many places to party it up. It was messy, but oh so fun! Boy do I miss those University days (not enough to go back to them, mind you. But it is fun to reminisce)
